Hello everyone!

The free demo for SeaColony is now live on Steam.

SeaColony is a base-building survival game set in the endless open sea. In the demo, you can start building your floating colony, expand your platform, manage colonists, produce food, and trade with merchant ships.

This demo offers an early look at the core gameplay, and your feedback will be very valuable as development continues.

I would especially love to hear your thoughts on:

- The first gameplay experience

- UI clarity

- Pacing and difficulty

Future goals of the game?

Hi! I played the demo today and I enjoyed it, but I found it a bit to easy and it made me wonder what you are planning for the future? Are the people going to make babies and expand the colony in that way? Are there going to be more possibilities to, for example, do sea mining/diving and gain iron bits for construction or pearls to sell? And so on... The one thing that, I think, is put to high, is the amount of raw food to cook something. And maybe just start with only fish and play other food types free t...

Work Priorities

Hi, I tried the demo today, and I noticed that the work priorities don't seem to do anything. I set Ethan as a 1 for cooking, as he had the highest cooking skill, but he never went to the stove. He spent most of his time fishing, which was his lowest priority skill. Unless a higher number is better? Based on the color coding, I'm assuming a 1 is highest priority. None of the 4 chars went to the stove at all in fact. They only ate the raw plants....

misc

misc seacolony quirky thing.. if i try to plan a rectangular/square room... i can't plan the corners if i planned the adjacent wall pieces 1st.. however it will allow me to plan the corner if i planned the corner before at least one of the adjacent walls. that's with the walls/corners lining the edge of platforms... existing platforms or planned platforms.. going to guess purifying water comes under cooking for jobs? if i pause the game and start typing here... sometimes when i go back to the game... it...
