Simply the best game I have ever played.

From the gameplay mechanics to the graphics, every aspect of this game screams perfection. The plot of the game is very full and descriptive, giving the players a very well-done and thought out storyline. The true emotion you feel playing this game is substantial, with the main contribution being Unga Boonga's ultimate goal to provide supplies for his family that are necessary for survival. His goal truly emphasizes the games primary theme and image of haste and disparity. The gameplay mechanics also embrace this theme, with Unga Boonga's rapid run and lengthy jumps.

The secret messages that Unga Boonga gives you when you are AFK are also a nice touch. It expresses Unga Boonga's deep concern for your current real-life status. He does this because without your actual input, he is unable to provide supplies for his family, ultimately leading to their deaths. It makes the experience more immersive, putting the family's outcome of health solely in your hands. One of his messages, a request to "eat the game" while you are not playing it, emphasizes Unga Boonga and his families lack of food and supplies, making Unga Boonga's request start from sounding like a funny gag to a secretive cry for help.

The combat aspect of this game is very immersive and perfectly curated to be lore-accurate. The animals that you have to fight throughout this game are unchanged and that of the same time period, embracing the game's true realism. The game also allows certain game mechanics that are directly correlated to evading certain hostile animals. Examples of this are both Unga Boonga's high jump that can be effectively used to evade tigers, and his athletic agility being effective against mammoths. The animals animations are also hyper-realistic in my opinion and correctly reflects what pre-historic animals would do in a hostile environment.

In conclusion, Caveman World: Mountains of Unga Boonga is, in my opinion, one of the greatest games of all time and one of the most influential games of our century.

Admittedly only played for a short while, but even if this is someone's first game they put a lot of effort in to making a simple platformer look good and work smoothly,

I like it.
