i can walk around with the controller but how can i start a scene ? pressed all buttons and triggers but nothing worked. what am i doing wrong ?

Quite interested in experiencing this just as a tech demo (which is what it seems to be). Trouble is when I launch it I appear to be standing on the edge of a revolviong platform.
