Steam errors out with -1 no license for the demo copy when trying to join a multiplayer game hosted by a full version. Full version continues working as expected. (Using steam version for both)

I don't have a good internet service right now. I'd like to play the game offline and there is even an option for that on the main menu, but it doesn't work. Every time a try to play offline the game tries to connect to the internet, it can't dot it and I get back to the main menu....

I know it says unsupported, but if you are a Deck owner, you know that doesn't mean it won't work. This looks like the perfect type of game for Deck play. I can't find any mention of it working or not. Thanks.
