If you're reading this is because you enjoy these type of games so I'll elaborate on my review.

BLUF: If you like simulating through the years, building teams, scouting, trading, and drafting to build your team into a winner this game will fill that void and is worth the $10 price tag.

Pros:
- Simplified UI, but with all the basic contents you need. Schedule, Roster, Depth Chart, Transactions, Cap Implications (Guaranteed Money, Dead Cap). League Leaders with Season Recaps (Overall the basics)
- Love that you can't cheese trades but is not unrealistic like Madden.
- Scouting: Is like the Old Madden's where you had points and they reveal the traits and overalls. Love that the points are limited and you need to be strategic into your team needs. That means that you can't scout every prospect (Around 400-450) and get all the data, also that means that you have to scout across prospect from multiple rounds which the game sorts them pretty well.
- Draft: 9/10 really good potential, love the trade up feature as you can negotiate with other teams and you know what is required to move up the board, love that when you're on the clock teams call you and offer a trade and its realistic.
- Contracts are appropriate, development is appropriate, and stats are also realistic.
- Staff - You can hire from College Teams, that's cool.

Cons:

- Still in early stages, lots of potential but still has room to grow (That's why is $10)
- You can edit the names of colleges and what not but the game is new so the community needs to grow and eventually we can add realistic logos to the teams.
- It would be nice to see the past history of your teams in details like other competitors.
- It would be nice to know what are the implications of the GM attributes.

I think is a good game, there are others out there that eventually will come out, and maybe get better. However, this developer arrived early to the party and the game has potential. I believe that if he updates the game accordingly this game can be a force to reckon for the foreseeable future. If you like this type of games, you won't regret the $10 investment at all.

Having spent more time with War Room Football, I wanted to share some additional impressions.

There’s a strong foundation here. The core systems such as free agency, scouting, and the draft are well-designed and easy to engage with. The in match viewing experience itself might be my favorite in the GM simulation genre. Allows you to follow your game while still keeping track of what’s happening across the rest of the league. The UI is clean and modern, and the news system adds a nice layer of immersion.

Over longer sims (40+ seasons), things are a bit more interesting though this may come down to preference and what you want out of a simulation. I favor deeper, less predictable systems, while this game may lean more toward clarity and consistency, which many players may prefer. Stats are reasonable and I love the inclusion of advanced stats (e.g. ADOT, sack conversion, success rate, stats which I haven't seen in any other football simulation game). There’s noticeable ratings compression, with many players having maxed attributes, making elite players stand out less but again, many players like the high overall design approach.

Where there is room for improvement, at least for me, is long-term simulation depth. Systems are clear and consistent, but fairly deterministic:

1. Free agency outcomes can be predictable i.e. you can see competing offers, adjust accordingly and easily win, similar to older Madden systems
2. Player development curve seems predictable for elite players: There is some upward mobility (breakouts via dev upgrades), but limited downside risk, once players become elite, they tend to stay there, leading to less turnover at the top
3. Top teams tend to stay on top for a bit, with multiple three-peats and repeat champions over the course of the one 40-yr simulation (could just be a sample size issue)
4. Older players (especially RB/CB) remain elite longer than expected into their early 30s

None of these are dealbreakers, but they do shape the experience over time.

I know the developer is actively making changes and I can expect it'll get deeper over time.

Overall, this is a polished and enjoyable management game with excellent presentation and a strong base. It leans more toward accessibility, clarity and a bit of predictability, but with tuning (player distribution, aging curves, and variance), it has the potential to become something special (at least for me).

Kudos to the developer, great game.

Game is a blast and only going to get better. I have a feeling this is going to be one of the best sports management games around.
