Welcome to Steam Next Fest! To celebrate the festival and the release of our biggest demo patch yet, one of the developers from Bufflehead Studios will be going live right here on our Steam page.

Come hang out, talk game design, and watch us dive into the brand-new features we just dropped for the Minimon demo!

Whether you are a returning playtester or just discovering the game for the first time, we have a ton of new content to show off. During the stream, we'll be tackling:

• The First-Ever Raids: We'll be pushing our Minimon to the absolute limit and trying out the new 3-unit Raid battles. (Expect some chaotic fun as we test this work-in-progress feature live!)

• Adventures in Action: We'll demonstrate how to utilize your benched Minimon by sending them on the brand-new asynchronous missions to gather resources.

• The Revamped Endless Mode: Watch us try to survive the newly reconfigured Endless Mode and discuss the design philosophy behind its dynamic scaling.

• UI & QoL Polish: We'll take a tour of the completely reworked Roster page, the new detailed stats breakdowns, and the quality-of-life changes we've implemented based on your awesome feedback.

Hey everyone! With Steam Next Fest kicking off tomorrow, we wanted to drop a massive update to ensure the demo is in absolute top shape. We've been hard at work over the last couple of weeks, and we are thrilled to introduce some huge new systems, including our first implementation of Raids and an asynchronous Adventure system!

Here is what’s new in today's patch:

• New "Adventures" System: Your benched Minimon no longer have to sit idle! You can now send them out on asynchronous missions to gather resources and gain experience while your primary Minimon continues their main run.

• High-Level Raids (Work in Progress!): We’ve added our very first Raid for players who have pushed their Minimon to the limit! You can now send up to three Minimon into battle simultaneously for some seriously action-packed encounters. Developer Note: This is an early, work-in-progress feature, so expect a little chaos as we continue to refine the multi-unit combat!

• Endless Mode Reconfigured: We've completely overhauled the pacing and structure of Endless Mode to make it more challenging and rewarding. It's the ultimate proving ground to test your Minimon’s mettle and see exactly how far your builds can go.

• Roster Page Rework: We’ve completely redesigned the Roster page from the ground up. It’s now much cleaner, easier to navigate, and makes managing your growing squad of Minimon a breeze.

• Smoother Onboarding: We’ve made even more improvements to the First Time User Experience (FTUE). Tutorials and introductory prompts have been smoothed out to help new players learn the ropes faster and with less friction.

• Massive Balance Pass: We’ve made sweeping balance tweaks across the board—adjusting abilities, enemy scaling, and economy pacing. There are honestly too many specific number changes to list here, but overall gameplay should feel much tighter and more rewarding!
