Demo Hotfix 2#

Thanks to everyone testing the demo and sending feedback - here's what's new in today's update:

Fixes

Fixed farm outline before buying it
Fixed Tier 2 seed dialog order
Improved seed particles pulled to the Seedbox chest
Inversed panning in the Skill Tree for controller only
Few typo fixes

Not ultrawide-friendly.

Please allow the player to do windowed mode of their resolution choice. On an ultrawide, the main menu screen clearly wasn't designed around that size... and the available resolutions don't give anything other than ultrawide after being forced into windowed mode (alt-enter)....

The "You Finished The Demo" Update

Hey everyone!

This one's a big one. We've been working on two things we're really proud of and wanted to give them the spotlight they deserve.

Full Controller Support

It's here. Plug in and play - full controller support is now live across the entire demo including the skill tree, farm, conversion screen and all menus.
We know a lot of you were waiting for this.
It's still fresh so if anything feels off, let us know and we'll fix it fast.

4 Secret End-Game Seeds

Love the demo but want more to do? We hear you.
We've added 4 new secret seed types that unlock after you finish the demo content. Each one grows into a unique grass type you won't find anywhere on the frontier. We're not going to spoil them. Find them yourself.

Everything Else

Auto-Collect Seeds upgrade added
Farm Grass Speed upgrade added
Seeds in inventory can now be planted directly in the Farm
Seedbox now stacks seeds... Sadly each seed can only stack up to 2 billion. Good luck.
Oxygen and slowness now scale with grass density - fairer and more readable
Improved Dash responsiveness
Fewer unfair instant-death situations
New SFX + improved existing ones
Various UI, visual, and bug fixes

- Added a seed deposit (seedbox) right next to the farm for easier planting

Fixes

- Fixed some UI input issues
- Fixed the Farm Unlock skill not being auto-purchased in the skill tree
- Fixed the Farm unlock reward popup
- Fixed highlights on objects

Loved the demo!

The pixel art is gorgeous, the ambient sounds are relaxing, and the gameplay is simple but satisfying. Didn't run into any bugs either.

Awesome game

The idea feels fresh and unique. How long do you plan the final game to be? Kinda wish the grass and "walls" would put up more of a fight but maybe the later biomes will be harder?
