I've never been in the air outside of a plane but I downloaded this on my VR system after watching the tom scott video on the subject just to give it a try. At first I wasn't sold on the concept but when I hit my first thermal and was able to ascend beyond my starting elevation, entirely passively, that's when it clicked for me. This game lets you fly, for real! I decided to try out the google earth demo and it's pretty cool too. Was able to take a long commute in style, through the air.

As far as extrinsic/game objectives the game is very barebones but I'm not looking for any so its great for me.

Also, the game runs well on a pretty low spec gpu which is awesome.

My two wishes are 1. an option that could make the wind a bit more dynamic over time and space, instead of just a fixed speed and direction, so there's some incentive to be at certain heights if you are trying to get a tailwind.
2. a way to save and resume flights. I'm pretty prone to motion sickness and can't play vr or even a lot of non vr first person games for more than an hour or two. It'd be nice to be able to pick up later from my elevation, speed, position etc.
