Since Throne of Desire launched on Steam, we’ve received extensive community feedback and reviews. We sincerely apologize that the initial experience did not fully meet your expectations.

We have carefully reviewed all comments and are fully committed to improvements. We will first address UI and control issues that most affect gameplay. Recent key optimizations include:

🔹 Fewer pop-ups: Greatly reduced pop-up frequency for a more focused experience.

🔹 Adult-scene UI: Added a Settings button during scenes for quick volume and environment tweaks.

🔹 Battle HUD trim: Hid nonessential info on the main screen to reduce visual clutter in Battle.

🔹 Resizable windows: Some windows can now be resized to free up main-screen space.

This is an autoplay mobile game ported to PC with the most minimal of effort. You'll see "Tap on Screen" and the same UI and control scheme as the mobile version. What's more, it has a generic story that exists just to be skipped, and you won't regret not knowing what's going on because the developers apparently don't either, since the story makes no sense even if you do pay attention to it.

Expect the typical convoluted interface like every other pay-to-win mobile game, now on your large PC monitor but with oversized icons just in case you can't find the buttons because there are too many. More buttons are hidden within buttons, which contain even more, like a Matryoshka doll where you'll keep finding new things to get yourself confused over.

Just so you'll continue playing instead of getting frustrated, the game plays for you, like a gentle and patient mentor who'll guide every button press so that you don't have to put in the effort, because why try so hard, right? All you have to do is click "1-Tap Complete" and all the most tedious tasks are done in a single click, even missions. You'll spend your time micro-managing the game, clicking buttons but without really knowing why. However, to any observer you'll seem like an elite gamer playing a 4X strategy game.

Now that you're fully hooked by the "engrossing" gameplay, the erotic content comes trickling in. Looking exactly like Rise of Eros for the 3D interactive scenes, you'll perhaps feel excited for what's to come, despite the 3D models looking quite bad and with non-existent texture detail that'll make Barbie feel proud of herself. Then you'll realize very soon that the 3D scenes are few and far between, and most of the erotic scenes are even lower-quality AI-generated 2D art that looks nothing like what you're expecting.

In order to entice you to get the better-looking 3D scenes which come attached to characters gained in the gacha, you'll be bombarded by super special discounts and offers on packs that cost as much as an AAA video game, and for the price of a single outfit for a single character, you could probably get GTA 6.

Maybe you're rich and not a poor peasant like me. Look, I'm still using a 7-year-old GTX 1660 Super. So maybe I shouldn't be nitpicking about the price. I'm sure wealthy players will have no qualms about spending the equivalent of an RTX 5080 every month buying micro-transactions just to look at some low-quality sex scenes and cheap character designs that scream "I'm gooner bait!" louder than a group of ten hardcore simps with loudhailers.

In case you're still deciding on playing anyway, you'll find your life made miserable by the chores you'll have to do every day, yet you're worse off than a housewife who doesn't get paid to do domestic work. That's because you'll be spending your time on a game which wants nothing more than to leech on your life like a parasite so that you may eventually give in to its extortionist pressure and hand over your hard-earned money for nothing that's ever worth what you're paying for.

The whole game has a linear path of progression where you go wherever the game wants you to go, with the illusion of choice. You won't notice it until it's too late and the game has turned you into a husk of your former self, but by then, the game has already exploited you enough and moved on to its next unfortunate victim.

I’m not sure if it’s a bug, but if you choose any of the three jobs other than the initial one—such as Ranger or Wizard—you sometimes end up as a Soldier, which prevents you from using your preferred ID.

If you delete your first character, you may not receive the announcement rewards.

This is an MMO or mobile game featuring adult-oriented scenes; the price per unit is higher than that of an Apple OS.
While job changes are available, they are limited to the well-known specialisations; to switch to other jobs, you have no choice but to create a new character.

*In-Game Review*
The good thing is that you simply set a goal and the game clears it automatically, so even if you’re playing for NSFW content, it’s not too much of a burden.

There are currently plenty of rewards available for NSFW content, so it’s worth giving it a go.

The design is geared towards mobile, but there are no adverts.

The downsides are:
Bugs with job selection, and
Skins cost $170, whilst each plan is around $20.

If you look closely, many of the characters have Asian features, with only their make-up altered.

The NSFW design in this game makes one suspect plagiarism, as there is already a Japanese game that released this content first.

Is this alright? I hear there are patent disputes over this sort of thing, but is this one of them?

Serial codes redemption (Not friend invite codes)

I tried to find all working serial redemption codes for this game, and this is what I managed to find. As of today, June 11, 2026, when I entered each of these codes, I got a green confirmation message saying that the code was valid/working.
