The name did not come out of nowhere. From above, enemy infantry really does look like that: small figures crawling across the ground, scattering between cover, moving through tree lines, and trying to blend into the terrain. Individually, they are not much of a threat. But once there are a lot of them, the situation changes very quickly.

On their own, they deal minimal damage. In groups, they become a real problem. A large concentration of infantry can overwhelm a position, seize a key point, stretch the defense line, and create chaos where everything seemed under control just a minute ago.

That is why the best tactic against worms is eliminating them in groups.

Rockets are the best tool for this job. They are not very effective against vehicles, because they do not have enough power to quickly disable heavily protected targets. But against infantry, their effectiveness is entirely different. If the enemy has clustered together, moved into the open, or started massing in a sector, that is the perfect moment to strike.

That is the essence of drone operator tactics: do not waste an expensive resource on a single small target — wait for the moment when the strike will deliver the maximum result.

Worms are not just a weak enemy. They are a target type that forces you to assess the situation correctly, manage your ammunition, and make decisions on time. Miss a concentration, and you will have a problem. Act precisely, and you remove the threat with a single accurate strike.
