Fixed some minor issues caught on splattercatgaming's playthrough video. Also, thank you splattercatgaming!

Enabled permanent flee button when in combat in an escape pod, so you no longer have to hit the evasive stance first to unlock the command, at least in the escape pod. So no more panicking.

Added visual notification in comm log when Refugees are delivered to Starbase.
Additional hints added to telegraph system so there is feedback on what counter to use every attack.
Added visual notification in comm log when ship is traded in.

DEVLOG: 1 Week until Early Access & More Peeks!

Hello SectorLords!

We are exactly ONE WEEK from Early Access and I am literally committing every loose branch of code into production just so you can have what I hope will be an amazing experience! Yes, this might mean there will be bugs or inconsistencies, bad grammar, spelling mistakes, but those will be quickly cleared up post Early Access launch, so expect weekly patches if not daily for the most egregious of bugs! The following weeks I'll be listening carefully to those of you that are playing for your feedback on balance, and adjust accordingly if it's too easy or difficult.

Onto the sneak peeks! There's even more coming in the Early Access Release. I've introduced some toggleable optional animations to add a modern touch to the map incase the current settings aren't to your liking. Also, the generic Player Ship icon has been replaced with an icon that corresponds to the current ship you are flying. The new effects are a warp trail and star streaks, and an option to have traversible warplines highlighted or destination sectors bracketed. There are just so many combinations of CRT Effects and GUI customizations now that I honestly hope everyone will be able to create their own perfect '80s style wireframe terminal.

The HAIL system has been almost fully developed now and is available in EA, with the ability to gain (or lose) faction standing when conversing with Alien Captains, and if you chance upon the Faction Flagship, you can challenge them to a duel!

Anomalies have also been upgraded with basic '80s inspired wireframes just to add a little more polish to the game.

I hope you'll take part in early access and enjoy the game!

Do you have to use CLI?

Or can everything or most everything use the mouse? Did notice some oddities, like left clicking buy colonists it just tells you to use CLI with the appropriate command, but right clicking it works. Also dunno if it's a me issue, but the game seems prone to double typing. Like in the UI to buy colonists after right clicking in the starbase, I typed 10, but it came out as 1010. Or when I tried to type Buy in the CLI, but it came out as Buuy. Colo came out as Coolo. I'm not seeing this issue outside the ga...

Exit to the right of the CLI should probably be renamed to Menu, since it also includes Optionsin it. Buy Fighters and Buy Colonists in starbase is inconsistent with other buttons there since it just gives you a CLI command on left click and right click does the thing. Buy fuel and repair works on left click for example. Dunno if it's because I tabbed out or what, but loading a save game from the main menu seems to take much longer than starting a new game. It seems there is only one save slot? I would ...

Can you play forever?

Like I see there is a Final Epoch. Is it final because it's going to end? Or does it basically just last forever? Edit: And as a sidenote, how much are you intending for save compatability throughout the EA period? Like regular resets? It should be fine unless something big happens?...
