Won't even start on Linux

I click play, there is a flicker, then nothing more happens. Is there a log somewhere? Is the dev looking at that forum?

bizarre flashing on LInux

There is some bizarre flashing that seems to be gl artifacts coming off of the surfer or when I press buttons. This occurrs both in full screen and windowed mode. I can provide any additional information that might be needed to fix this.

This game is too fast

I don't feel like I have enough time to process what needs to be done after going past 100 points or so. If it could just slow down just a tad, it'd be a lot more enjoyable.
