Hey everyone,

I’m super excited to announce that Eldor’idle is in Next Fest this week!

If you’re new here then here is what you’ll need to know before you press the big green button 🟢

You are an ordinary hero looking to make your fortune. Fate brings you to the quaint town of Eldor’Idle, where you must follow these three simple steps:

Step one: Click on a pot to break it

Step two: ???

Step three: Become a billionaire

There may also be some extra steps involving investment banking, or mining for ore, or bartering with ghosts, or training lazy gnomes… but at the end of the day there’s only one thing that’s important, and that’s GETTING RICH.

Simple enough, right?

Hello there!

I’m solo dev Nautlander and this is Eldor’Idle, an incremental RPG about becoming a billionaire!! Everyone has fond memories of smashing pots in video games to earn a coin, gem, rupee, etc… My goal was to take this to numbers-go-up extremes.

Here’s the first trailer :D

You are an ordinary hero looking to make your fortune. Fate brings you to the quaint town of Eldor’Idle, where you must follow these three simple steps:

Step three: Become a billionaire

balancing problems

ok i have played the demo threw twice just to make shore i understand the game in the current state and i have found a glairing flaw crystals are to over powered compared to coins. coin gain is currently to slow to keep up with the exponential growth of the up grades buy the mid game. after the first 10-20 minutes of playing you should stop buying coin upgrades and new pot upgrades and focus on framing crystals as fast as posable. crystals have a staking % growth were coins dont letting you get in to 10^2...

Income

I noticed that there is no way the game is balancing different house income streams. This should be balanced so that if you have say 2 homes with gnomes in them, you are getting dual income streams. Not just whatever house you happen to be in.

Auto-click isn't what I thought it was

I thought it would click pots merely by hovering the hand over them... but it doesn't do that. I still had to hold the button down to initiate clicking. I would much prefer if the mouse did it WITHOUT my needing to hold a button because that hurts my hand. It also creates another thing to spend crystals on... 'auto-click speed'. You could invest to do more clicks per second. Hell, even an auto-targeting for auto clicking that you can toggle could be a nice upgrade....
