I was intrigued by the idea of having my game collection being in a physical-ish form, and the game does that, but in a very basic way. It pulls your library from steam profile and have give each of them a box for you to grab and put on shelf, as well as add screenshots as content inside the box and launch the actual game from it (cool but not practical).

Now as much as I hate give it a negative review, I feel like it's fair for its current state.

I was not able to find this in-game or on the steam page so I missed it.
If you are willing to download a separate app for this, my point 1 is invalid.

1. The box arts and screenshots not being pulled directly from Steam is a huge letdown. You are required to manually upload each game's box arts and screenshots. So the process is basically google a game's box art, download it and making sure it's in the right resolution, upload it along with screenshots, and repeat this over and over. It's too much of a chore, especially for someone like me who has almost 1k games.

2. Style. It looks it's meant to recreate what a gamer room looks like back in maybe early 2000s or even before, but for my own personal taste I'd like to make a modern gaming room instead to match the modern games. There is also some clashes in style like you have a modern laptop and speaker in there paired with ancient mouse and keyboard.

3. The graphic doesn't look good enough to convey the vibe. I'm not looking for some UE5-level graphic, but the textures are really low quality, flat surfaces that are just rough to look at. Lighting could also use some works as at night it seems like it's lacking shadows on objects. It was also using 50% of my 5090 for it, which was very odd.

4. Bugs. There were quite a lot of bugs from just 15 mins of playing. Such as light switch being behind wallpaper, mouse being abnormally large, furniture icons being stuck to my cursor if I drag it and close catalogue and speaker only placeable on floor and not desk.

Conclusion: even though it only costs 5$ in my region, I have to say for its current state it's not worth it. But I do hope to revisit in the future to see if it grows.

Currently, the game requires you to manually find, download, and organize artwork for every single game you own in order to display it as box art.

That is an absolutely colossal problem with a game that's supposed to simulate a physical game collection.

I really wanna enjoy this game, but the Wizard tool provided to make it possible and easy to pull screenshots and capsule art from your library does not work on Linux/Steamdeck. even attempting to use it through Proton or Wine.

Was so excited to play this, but its way too much of a hassle to manually get art and screenshots of every single game i have, and it kills my enjoyment :(
