Hello everyone,

We're really happy that so many of you tried the Project Sakura demo during Next Fest. We were excited to finally show everyone what we've been working on, and it turned out to be a great Next Fest for us.

We received lots of feedback and kind messages. Your feedback will be incredibly helpful as we continue development. It was also amazing to see so many players who were just as excited about the game as we are.

Here are the countries that showed the most interest in the Project Sakura demo:

unplayable

Sadly, it's unplayable for me because I have an ultrawide monitor. When I start it it doesn't give me any ability to set resolutions or put in a window or anything and literally the only button seen on the screen was the wishlist button. It's clear that stuff was off the screen since words weren't fully on the screen. You'd think people would be aware that UW is a thing. too bad...probably won't ever give it another try....

After playing the demo

The demo isn't particularly long and is still very bare-bones, but I think it already gives a good overview of what the developers are trying to do here. I didn't think the demo was that bad for a first look, but I'm not sure yet if I'd buy the Early Access version right from the start. The design of the small town is very well done and beautifully captures the typical characteristics of a Japanese town like this. Many big studios struggle to design Japanese towns in a truly “believable” way, but eve...

To rought around the edges

I see where is going and I like it, but it is still in very early stage yet. Optimization is very poor, lack of basic features like custom keybinds, FOV slider, sentitivity and ADS sensitivity, etc. Will keep an eye on it but for the time being is time to uninstall it....

Demo Feedback

First impression was very bad: Bad sound music and voices, bad visuals, stupid Intro (buy a kid a lollypop?!?), can't "run" more then 5m, can't walk 10m away from the road (leaving "MissionArea") Faces look awefull, etc.pp.. alt+f4 at the police dude and uninstalled....
