This update introduces one of the largest system overhauls since the beginning of development.
The order market, trip planning and several core systems have been expanded and improved.


Poland Expansion

The eastern logistics network has been expanded:

• Katowice – Industrial hub in southern Poland
• Radom – Strategic connection between Warsaw and southern routes
• Włocławek – Connection between Warsaw and western logistics corridors

France Expansion

• Bordeaux – First city on the French west coast
Connected to Paris, Toulouse and Bilbao.

Map Precision

All new cities were integrated using precise world map and planning coordinates.


The order system has been completely redesigned.

• All contracts now appear in a global market overview
• Filters for city, cargo type and order type
• Market reacts dynamically to NPC competitors
• More realistic order distribution

Extended Market Filters

Filters available for:

• Start city
• Cargo type (documents, parcels, pallets etc.)
• Order type (Normal, Express, Fragile)


Orders are no longer simply accepted with one click.

• Real-time negotiations with NPC logistics companies
• Competitors can undercut bids
• Strategy and timing now matter more


Orders can still be secured instantly.

• Revenue is reduced
• Percentage adjusts dynamically based on game rules


The previous linear order model has been replaced by a flexible route-based system.

Flexible Multi-Stop Routes

Load A → Load B → Unload A → Unload B

Stop Phase Logic

Each stop now has two phases:

• Driving Phase – travel to destination
• Service Phase – loading or unloading cargo


Orders can now be split into separate actions.

• LOAD (Pickup)
• UNLOAD (Delivery)

These actions can be moved freely within the route plan.


More control over route planning.

• Auto-routing can be disabled
• Manual planning receives full revenue
• Auto-routing applies a -10% revenue penalty


New planning logic for empty runs.

New feature for short-term driver hiring.

Drivers can be rented daily for licenses:

Thank you to all testers and players for the feedback. Many improvements are based directly on community suggestions.

Important information about the upcoming major update

With the upcoming update v0.2.0_ea, there will be a one-time reset of all save games.

Why is this necessary?

During the initial release, the game was mistakenly published as a full release build, even though European Logistics Tycoon is still in active Early Access development.

Since then, several core systems have been completely redesigned or newly implemented, including:

• the new Freight Market bidding and negotiation system
• the new Reputation System v2
• new cargo milestones and special contracts
• expansion of the European world map
• major adjustments to economy, balancing and accident mechanics

These changes deeply affect the game structure and savegame data, meaning older saves would no longer work reliably.

One-time reset

All existing save games will therefore be reset with this update so that:

• all players start under equal conditions
• the new systems work correctly and consistently
• future updates can be developed on a stable foundation

This reset is a one-time step to properly transition the game to its Early Access development phase.

Important

European Logistics Tycoon is still actively in development.
During Early Access, systems, balancing and content may continue to evolve.
