Thanks for playing File Hoard. Here's what I'm working on.

This is my second game on Steam but the biggest one yet, so there's a lot I want to add.

Updates will be free (naturally).

I've been reading every review, discussion post, and bug report. Already shipped QoL fixes based on player feedback.

I'm paying attention - keep it coming.

First proper content update. Focused on giving the game more strategic depth. Or at least the appearance of it.

Generator Synergies - New upgrade type. Generators now boost each other based on how many of a paired generator you own. Cursors scale with Download Managers, Data Centers scale with Botnets, etc. 10 synergy upgrades total. Buying one of everything is now slightly less pointless.

Achievement Rewards - All 63 achievements now grant small permanent bonuses that persist across prestiges. Click power, income, download speed, file value, tape gain, crit chance, HDD capacity. You were going to unlock them anyway.

59 Events - Event pool more than doubled. 32 new events across all types, plus a new bytes-earned challenge. Your cat will now chew through your ethernet cable. You're welcome.

The prestige loop needs more reasons to keep going. Working on it.

Prestige Milestones - New unlocks at specific prestige counts. Events, cosmetics, endgame bonuses. Gives the loop a bit more purpose beyond "number was big, now number is small again."

Second Prestige Layer: "Format" - Reset your tapes for a higher-tier currency. Unlocks new upgrades: auto-prestige, tape multipliers, event control, a 16th generator, extra download slots, and other things that will probably break the game in interesting ways. I'll balance it later. Probably.

For the people who actually want to play their idle game. I don't judge.

Golden Files - Random bonus files appear on screen every 60-120 seconds. Click them for instant rewards. Miss them and they disappear, judging you silently.

More Challenge Types - Earn X bytes in Y seconds, buy generators under time pressure, survive negative event streaks. For people who think idle games should involve effort. Questionable, but here we are.

More Achievements - New achievements to go with the new content. More things to chase, more small bonuses to earn. The completionists demand it.

Cosmetic themes, leaderboards, more generator tiers, seasonal events - nothing locked in. Depends on what makes sense and what people actually want. No DLC, no microtransactions. Just updates.

Timelines above are targets, not promises. I'd rather ship something good a week late than something broken on time.
