This game is perfect if you’re looking for something relaxing that allows you to mostly turn your brain off. In a lot of cooking games you have to worry about angry customers, burning food, and running all over frantically — which is fine sometimes, but this is so perfectly casual. Your food doesn’t burn, the customers help themselves, and the money auto collects. The most work is really collecting everything you need to bake your goods.

My biggest complaint is that I had a hard time figuring out how to play this on my Steam Deck, but I did figure it out! I’m sure there’s an easier way, but I ended up having to get started on my PC because when I tried to get past inputting a bakery name on my Deck, I couldn’t. Right after that I switched to my Deck and I just had to use the in game settings to change the screen resolution. Now it seems to be working seamlessly! In some spots, the writing is VERY small and hard to read, but it IS playable on a Steam Deck. To me, that’s perfect, because this is the kind of game I’d play with my show on in the background or something!

There are a few small things in game that I wish were different or that I could change, but all in all, this game matched the image I had in my head and satisfied my “relaxing” game itch.
