We’ve been hard at work on a small but exciting update for Catmarine, and today we’re thrilled to share a glimpse of what’s coming next to the deep.

🌊 A New Threat Emerges

Our underwater world is about to become more alive — and more dangerous. We’re currently developing brand-new sea creatures designed to truly challenge your submarine piloting skills. These aren’t just visual additions - they bring new behaviours, new patterns, and new surprises.

🔄 Meet the “Upside Down Fish”

One of the first new creatures swimming your way is the mysterious Upside Down Fish.

This strange inhabitant of the deep doesn’t behave like anything you’ve encountered before. Instead of moving in predictable paths, it drifts and patrols in unusual inverted patterns, watching your submarine from below… or above? It might be hard to tell.

But what makes it truly interesting is how it reacts to you.

Really enjoyed the demo!

I have no notes; that was a really fun experience! It's a lovely combination of Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime and typing games (a la Typing of the Dead -- or in the modern era, Final Sentence), but with a cute cat theme. Definitely on my to-buy list at launch!...

🎉 Catmarine’s Next Fest Celebration! 🐾

To celebrate our leap into Steam Next Fest, we held a cozy little gathering! A few humans were invited to try out the demo, and let’s just say… they brought some delightful chaos to the room. Buttons were pressed, papers were shuffled, and a few cat naps were interrupted along the way.

And yes, no celebration is complete without cake! We enjoyed some sweet treats while sharing laughs, purrs, and plenty of cat-themed vibes. 🐾 And as you can see, they had our faces on the cake. Meow.

It was a fun reminder that both in-game adventures and real-life gatherings are better with friends - and a little chaos! Stay tuned for more updates, more fun, and more cat-tastic surprises coming soon.

What a wonderful game! It's a cute and heartwarming, play-at-your-own-pace game which can still certainly bring out the competitiveness in you and your friends.
