Nah man this is literally a 0.5 version of original Project Werewulf. Yes, the plot starts off exactly the same, graphics look the same(no improvement) with the most notable addition being the Depth of Field effect in select gameplay scenarios. The camera has seen an improvement. Character models are extactly the same quality. I asked the devs more than once to focus on the graphics since it's essentially a stripped down version of the original game but no, they cheaped out with the recycled assets.

There's just so much content in the original game. I'd suggest skipping this recycled version and pay a little more to get the original game. This is not cheap "The Killing Antidote" for those who are thinking of getting the game because of lack of sex scenes.

This game seems to be the same game without the lewd gameplay and without the character customization. It's sad because i was looking forward to more content like what we got in the first game but the developer got rid of the lewdness that made the game popular. In that case, there is hardly a improvement from the first game. Same models, same story, no lewd animations. Different level design but it's not satisfying enough. And the game is missing more that made it fun before. Maybe it will be added back one day.

If your looking for a game that has no lewd content but has a decent story and gameplay then play The killing antidote because it does everything this game does but better and the original has more content for you than this does. I'll be looking to refund it and we'll see how it improves down the line.

I give a 3 out of 5 Stars ★ for Werewolf: The Inner Beast

First of all i am Happy to support an Indie game but $20 for this feels too much. It should be either $10 or max $15 but well i bought it anyways :)

Technical Review :

I played it at 60 FPS or the GPU Utility goes to 96% and CPU Utility goes 100% with Power usage 274W. Make sure to reduce & set the FPS correctly if you are playing it with a Mid to High end card or you will be roasting Marsh Mellows from your GPU

GPU Utility : At 60 FPS Peak 70% but average is mostly at 63% and drops to as low as 37%
CPU Utility : At 60 FPS Peak 50% but mostly howers around 35% to 40%
Power Utilization : Max 174 Watts

Conclusion : Safe to Play in a High End Card as long as you at start of the game enable your GPU Metrics and adjust FPS settings accordingly

Game Review :

You are basically playing Werewulf Lara Croft look alike in Outer Space. I liked the game atmosphere, sound, level design and lighting. The character design seem to be highest priority as the sweat, wet and mud textures on skin looked very well made. Plus a lot of cool and sexy outfits to keep Male gamers entertained. Full Nudity option will be available soon as well. The story looks fine but i couldnt find the subtitles option.

But where the game really lacks is the Game play which feels very clunky. The combat is poor and not free flowing. The gun fights are not to my liking, crowd control is pretty bad as you can get stun locked without the ability to return fire ending up dead unless you crouch or break line of sight which is pretty annoying at start but i got used to it, even if i didnt like it. You can buy ammo at Kiosk which saved time scavenging for it.

The Manual Save option is a big + as this saved me a lot of frustration to avoid repetitive play

Overall Werewolf: The Inner Beast is a decent Indie game with good visuals and character textures that provides what you need in an adult game. However the clunky combat, poor game play mechanics and somewhat high price without Steam Trading Cards may not be a good return of Investment. But the 100% easy to get Steam Achievements is a definite Plus
