The Tatra KT4D DLC is now available for City Transport Simulator 2026.

With the Tatra KT4D, a true tram classic joins the game. This vehicle brings classic technology, compact handling, and plenty of nostalgia to your routes.

The Tatra KT4D feels noticeably different from modern trams.

One of its key highlights is the classic pedal control. Acceleration and braking are controlled via pedals, creating a distinct driving experience and a new challenge in everyday city traffic.

The DLC also supports double traction, allowing two Tatra KT4D trams to operate together for an even more authentic classic tram experience.

At the center of this DLC is the Frankfurt version of the Tatra KT4D.

These vehicles were built between 1987 and 1990 and later modernized, including updates to the interior, seats, and wall panels.

For City Transport Simulator 2026, the Tatra KT4D has been recreated with great attention to detail — from its compact vehicle shape and nostalgic interior to its unique driving feel.

The Tatra KT4D DLC is also included in the City Transport Simulator 2026 Season Pass.

Alongside the release of the Tatra KT4D DLC, a new update for City Transport Simulator 2026 is now available.

This update improves several vehicles, adds a new settings option, and fixes multiple issues.

• Added a new option in the game settings to adjust the frequency of road bumps in multiple steps

• The default setting for road bumps is now “Rare”

• Road bumps can now be completely disabled

• Improved the honking behavior of AI cars

• AI cars now honk much less frequently, especially at roadside stops

• Optimized the area around Toriyama Avenue

• Optimized a tree type used in this area to improve performance and stability

• Adjusted rolling and cornering resistance for all tram types

• Improved the driving behavior of trams

• Updated the 3D model of the E1 tram

• Improved numerous details in the E1 cockpit and interior

• The E1 tram is now represented even more accurately

• Adjusted the brightness of the ULF tram headlights to match the other vehicles

• Reworked various sounds for the StadtRegioTram, Flexity, and ULF tram types

• Improved bus collision behavior

• Buses now get stuck on curbs much less frequently

• Corrected the windshield glass material on the Citybus C2

• Fixed an issue where switches for the GT6 and GT8N tram types were not set correctly after manually configuring the IBIS
