Freefall '95 is fully Steam Deck compatible, it runs at 90fps solid and has full gamepad support. We built the game around the deck, and it is the perfect game to play on the dunny (Australian for toilet).

Parachutes?

I'm loving the game and I'm only on level 1. I find it very entertaining and well-designed; it's been a while since I've been so hooked on a game like this. That's why I was wondering if it would be cool to find a parachute among the plane wreckage. Dodging the debris while parachuting would also be a challenge. Anyway, when I finish the game I'll write a review, obviously a positive one....

Hello Steam Passengers!

Freefall '95 is coming out 4pm EST 01/06 (that is 6am 02/06 for us Australians).

We are so incredibly proud of what we have made, and we really appreciate everyone who has wishlisted and followed us on our journey. It has been a long haul flight, full of half sleep, turbulence and crying babies, but to say it hasn't been worth it would be a lie.

This game has way more depth than it lets on. Challenges, objectives, upgrades, leaderboards, and once you progress enough, a roguelite mode, which is like a whole other game!

Well worth the asking price

D-Pad issue

On some menu screens, the dpad seems abit weird, sometimes it registers it and sometimes it doesnt, notice it most frequently in the seat menu, it works flawlessly with the analog stick though. Fun game by the way, enjoying it so far!

The polish on this is pretty slick. It starts out like an old flash game but you realise pretty quickly that there's a surprising amount of depth and a shockingly high skill ceiling.

I've only touched the surface but pretty keen to dive back in. It's a perfect steam deck game, locking in on the couch with some bad TV in the background.

You cat's have gotta release the OST, you're leaving money on the table by not doing it. Although there is that one song that sounds a lot like D:Ream's "Things will only get better"...

Freefall '95 does everything an indie game should. In a world where AAA games regurgitate themes and gameplay of every other top selling franchise, we can look to folks like S-Bend Games to give us something a little more personal.

Freefall '95 has you skydiving out of a plane wreckage, busting sick move into sick move, collecting chips, getting bitten by snakes, and zig zagging through the debris laden air in search of special items.

It's fun from the first play, but the level challenges and global leaderboard will have coming back time and time again.

Bravo S-Bend Games!

(ignore the game time on this review, I played the demo for yonks (In Australia that means a long time))

A Gripe: grabbing debris is sort of annoying.

I like that you can grab onto things to help boost yourself in a direction, but since you have absolutely 0 control over how the item you interact with will respond, you end up in random scenarios where grabbing the same item works vastly different. You could grab wheels debris and it either: A. spins towards the direction you came at it from B. spins dramatically in either direction or C. doesn't spin very much at all. This compounds onto the fact that you WILL be launched when you let go of debris and ...
