The Last Tale Told: Spam feels traditional as a debut indie horror game from Zignus, but, thankfully, it delivers so much more than what I expected in its short runtime.
For me, it's the little details in TLTT:S that make it standout. From the main menu having a bit more to it if you idle too long, the way the lights flicker in game, the way the jumpscares feel fun and not cheap, to the overall visual stylization, TLTT:S feels familiar yet fresh. The overall story and atmosphere creates unease in a way I just loved which is something I find lacking in many new indie horrors.
In my time with the game I could tell that this dev wanted to do things differently. While there were a few bugs and clunky interactions it did not sour my time with the game at all. I could only see a valiant effort to make something fun, simple, and scary. My only complaint is that I wish it were longer but I think that is a reflection of how much I enjoyed it.
If TLTT:S is only a foundation to what Zignus is capable of I'm excited to see what they create next.

very boring game. has two jumpscares, the plot makes no sense, and the overall gameplay is boring. task simulator + jumpscares = slop

I was quite impressed by this game! I expected a classic intruder story with an intense escape, but NOT this! The game runs really well, the story is pretty twisted, and it has great replayability potential thanks to its two different endings. I highly recommend it!
