Fright Train Demo Patch Note 0.3.2

Hello P.A.W. Agents,

Here are the patch notes for a few things following yesterday's demo update!

Fixed the Motorhead achievement.
The default Steam input controller is set to gamepad configuration and should work with all controllers.
When a controller is disconnected, the game will pause.
New stamina display and shorter out-of-breath effect.
Enemies will no longer phase through objects while strafing.

love it!

love it only encountered bugs of stuff disappearing if not picked up correctly, and if you have a endless mode where i can turn off waves but lower loot value i would be playing this constantly, also imo duffel bags dont help much if i cant use handgun with them and spawn too often...

Fright Train Demo Patch Note 0.3.1

Hello P.A.W. agents!

Here comes a massive demo update, just in time for this upcoming Next Fest! Once again, thank you for all your feedback and bug reports, whether on the discussion board, on our Discord server, or on our publisher's server[discord.gg].

Here are the changes and bug fixes in version 0.3.1 of the demo:

New Features

Added localizations for Spanish (LATAM), Ukrainian, Japanese, Italian, and German!
Added controller support! For the time being, only Xbox controllers are natively supported, but we'll look into adding more controllers for the full game.
Added key rebinds in the pause menu!
Doug can now blink and look at his PAW Pad when interacting with terminals.
Doug now fades away when the camera gets too close.
Running now consumes stamina.
The available discount is now displayed under the purchase price of exterior doors.
New UI for the inventory to make slot sizes more intuitive.
Added enemy knockback based on your gun.
You can now quick slot items you are holding.
Revamped the dialogue and subtitle systems.
More max framerate options added.
Frost visual effect added to storm enemies.
Widget now has a new comms room.

Bug Fixes

Enemies are now spawning inside navigable range.
Can no longer softlock by picking up a duffel bag while reloading.
The bullet trace detection won't collide with elements too close to the camera.
Fixed the bomber achievement.
Motorhead attack collision disabled when dead.
Zombies can no longer kill you after you win.
Outside collisions now work in packaged build.
Storage inventory input fix.
Several other minor fixes and QOL improvements.

First off, thanks for the wonderful reception the demo has been getting! We're regularly looking at all your feedback, whether it's on the discussion board, on our Discord server, or on our publisher's server[discord.gg]. If you have questions, suggestions, or bug reports, please let us know! :)

Here are the changes and bug fixes in version 0.2.3 of the demo:

Added localizations for Portuguese-Brazilian, Russian, and Simplified Chinese. More languages are coming soon!
New sounds for the motorhead attacks, and the placeholder sound are now impacted by the volume controls.
Made it so kicking something once gives you all the credits in it.
SMG click click threshold capped.
You can no longer slot a duffel bag anywhere in your inventory.
You can no longer duplicate items using hotkeys.
Fixed an issue with explosions sometimes causing player inputs to lock up.
You can no longer stack vending machine items.
You can no longer press the play demo/tutorial more than once.
You can no longer hardlock the game by pressing tab and escape on the same frame and then closing the inventory.

Pretty good what you've got going on here, I love games that feature moving trains levels and I love blasting zombies so this just mixes them two together really well. I like how you have to manage magazines instead of just needing bullets anywhere on your inventory to reload and I also like the interesting take on time it takes to repack a magazine depending on where the bullets are coming from. Menus are way too tedious

to the point where I'm not interested in the game anymore. In a rush to buy some ammo? I got no idea what I'm buying cause it all looks the same, and it doesn't even transfer to your inventory automatically.. and then trying to reload. Why do I have to open another menu to select which specific mag is used? And switching to a different mag has a cooldown before you can actually use it. Reloading also doesn't prioritize the lowest ammo box count, so I then have to stack ammo boxes to free up space. Relevant...

Can't use healing items?

Fought off an attack during a storm, tried to heal up, tried to use healing spray same as the tutorial showed to use the heatpack: place in hands, exit inventory, left click. Nothing happened and then I was unable to reequip any weapons either. Bug or feature?...

Bag Bug

Pressing ESC from a vending machine Picks up the back if it is dropped Holding R for reload pop up then pick up a Bag Makes so you can only run and change mags. You cannot close reload tab or drop the bag
