I've released a small update based on the feedback from the last patch.

This update includes various fixes, improvements, and adjustments suggested by players. Thank you to everyone who shared feedback and helped improve the game.

Demo feedback

The main takeaway here is that so far, the game is jank as hell. Everything about it is jank. Needling little annoyances abound. In the intro text (I visited the library for info), the perspective shifts between "You go to the library" and "I talked to a guy", constantly changing between first and second person. Pretty much all the text throughout the game has issues like this. The Star Gem description switches between "you have never" and "you had never", for example. The controls screen lists a run but...

Release Date Update – Moving to TBA

Hey everyone,

I’ve decided to move the release date to allow for final polish and a stronger launch.

I want the game to have the best start it can get.

I’ll also be bringing the demo to Steam as soon as possible and will continue updating it with improvements along the way.

Feedback after 30 minutes of play.

I am a kings field fan and I do love the visual aesthetic and look of this game. I can tell this demo is rather early into development so I will try not to be too harsh. The game has the main substance of a field like but is held back by a lack of polish. I'll try not to mention obvious bugs. -Items should automatically stack when you pick them up, similar to how it works in Minecraft. Only taking another inventory slot when the max stack size is reached. -Enemies transition from walking to attacking ...
