I removed showing the time in the center of the screen periodically, as it turned out to be too distracting.

Suggestions

While playing you can't really look away to see your score without crashing into a wall. My suggestion would be to show the score on the playfield every 5th or 10th score line you cross. It may also be fun to show an animation in the background when you improve your position. E.g. an expending star (with your new position inside) but limited to 1 per x seconds. I think these would help motivate the player to push on when on a good run....

I'm absolutely loving this wee game! So simple. So brilliant. The ship's movement - as you flow around the curves, corners and contours of the mazes - feels remarkably elegant. It's hard, and yet so much fun, on the standard difficulty/speed level, but I'm glad to report that there's also an easier difficulty option (as well as a very hard one!), which turns the game into a relaxing, meditative experience. Oh, and I love the robotic voice of the announcer! Big recommend from me, but do keep in mind that it's VERY moreish!

Ship V Maze is a nice little endless space runner, navigate your ship through one of many maze levels. Three difficulties, Slow (very easy), Fast and Insane. Instant restart, hard to put down.
