We're back from the New Year holidays with a playtest date announcement!

On January 29th, the prologue playtest will be available on our Steam page - if you haven't signed up yet, you can do it now:

As planned, during the playtest, players will be able to try out the first missions of BUS: Bro U Survived and all the key game mechanics, from battling zombies to customizing the bus. The lobby supports up to four players - find your apocalypse buddies!

We are really looking forward to your feedback, and at the same time, we hope you'll catch as MANY bugs as possible so we can fix them before the full release. To make sure nothing breaks for you, we strongly advise you NOT to complete the prologue in unusual ways. For example:

Each location has collectible resources and other NPC survivors you can rescue. If you collect all resources and all survivors, you can unlock all bus parts:

Every object you can find on the map has its own weight and size. For convenience (and coolness), you can toss them into the bus cabin. At zombies too! Enemies take damage when something hits them in the head. Will you be able to beat the game as a toilet-thrower?

Every location is meticulously designed - so meticulously that you can complete them without killing zombies. They'll still try to kill you, though. But there's a chance to finish the level with a clear conscience!

Every boss fight in the game is unique - they differ in mechanics, pace, and overall design.

The boss from the playtest features frequent and varied attacks - you'll need sharp reflexes to survive the fight without taking damage. We tried: it didn't go very well. The creators of this boss are curious to know who can defeat it unscathed!

Battling the boss, throwing toilets, and escaping the zombie apocalypse will be possible starting from January 29th. Hurry up and sign up for the playtest on the game's Steam page (and add it to your Wishlist while you're at it):
