Hey everyone! 👋 Our Kickstarter campaign is officially LIVE!

I've been receiving and reading a lot of your feedback regarding all kinds of improvements. I want you to know that I'm on it! I'm super excited to keep working on the project, designing upcoming levels, and adding those changes that will make A Game About Opening A Chest a much richer and... CRAZIER experience!

Like it, but few things.

So, it feels like you never have enough time, especially when it jumps to 5m suddenly. Then I presume more. And the random attacks (Dragon, Goblin) I had no idea how or IF I could do anything about them. The goblin ruined my run actually lol. IF you can attack them or ward them off, make sure the player knows that? Otherwise, so far, for a demo, it seems to have REAL good potential =) I hope you do take the player suggestions as not jabs, but to learn and grow, because I believe there is the start of a spe...

Couple of suggestions

Game looks like a great start - however a couple of suggestions... Make it so you can just right click to sell, I'm not sure what the point of having the shift modifier is other than to annoy me Spamming the E button to constantly open the chest in addition to clicking... why? Perhaps an autoclick for holding left click would be nice, would also discourage autoclickers a bit Some kind of comparison tooltip when you hover over items in your inventory, having to add up a dozen different stats separated d...

controls feedback

holding shift, spamming e, clicking chest, and trying to keep inventory clear with item balance is giving me hand cramps. i'd love customizable controls, or at least remove the hold shift and just make it right click to discard.

This is such a mixed bag. Graphics and sound are really nice, but the gameplay is just atrocious. I really can't remember when the last time was that a game confused me so much with such a nice polished look, but completely awful gameplay. No tutorial, no explanations, mindless game loop (Is Megaloot an inspiration?), Inventory in the middle of the screen obstructing my view (I later found out that you can move it), time running out while you're frantically mouse hovering over the inventory items and tryi...

feedback

after playing a few rounds my left hand feels like its about to cramp up due to having to hold down shift to get rid of unwanted loot, please give us a chance to maybe change the button layout even tho the time limit gives an interesting pressure i would kinda like a different mode where its possible to just see what its like without the timer, just seeing how high it actually goes....
