Hello! hackSociety is currently on version 1.2.93. The game build number is now on 1.3 as we get ready for game update 1.3, a big balancing and content update.

I've neglected putting update logs here on Steam. To catch you up, here is every single thing we've done since launch.

Game Update 1.2.93

+ New Contracts app - Claim contracts and complete the task to gain the listed rewards. Involves using Offensive Processing Power to DDoS targets, with difficulties ranging from Easy to Hard. Contracts appear randomly in a shared contract list everyone has, and some contracts can have package rewards
+ Organization Zero Day Research - Find corporate targets in the wild, and add them as a connection. You'll need to Target Scan them and get a exposed Port. Enter the IP and port of the corporate target into the Organizations app "Research" tab and you and your organization can begin funneling money into researching a zero day on this target. These zero days once completed begin a sponsored zero day your organization and the rest of the player base can participate in to steal hTC
+ KOTH is back to twice a day, the new KOTH running 12 hours after the current one
+ Replaced Friend Request mission with a mission to complete a medium or hard contract
+ New hNFT's - completed allocation effects for Founder & Bug Hunter, and some new hNFT's, one is a consumable!

Major Game Update 1.2.3
+ Brand new RUSH tournament - the RUSH tournament from before has been replaced. When it runs, you'll gain score for running successful access trojans, crypto stealers, and botnet viruses, and also gain double more for using bank fraud. You lose score for being hacked. Vouchers drop during this tournament and it's +1000 score for collecting one. So in this tournament, you're getting the rewards for winning, and getting vouchers. This is a solo per-person tournament, where it's your username on the leaderboard, not your organization. However, the leaderboard for it, is still in the Organizations app.
+ Brand new Nightshop - the in-game shop is obviously very bad. None of the purchases in there are worth it, really. I want to allow people to support the game and get cool stuff, obviously while not making the game P2W. So if you're a supporter of the game and have VIP, you can do /nightshop to recieve a link to the Nightshop store. You'll find better, fair packages in there to buy.
+ Changing IP price changed to 1000 hTC
+ Epic INTERNET hNFT is dropping with -50% Change IP cost
+ Changing IP disconnects you from a Botnet
+ 2 hour cooldown on putting specific people into your Botnet. You can spam Botnet virus across multiple people, but if you infect someone specific too quickly, you'll have to wait.

**Major Update 1.2.0**
+ KOTH rework - contains 3 layers, with 9 segments each. Green ones are segments your organization controls, red ones are not, and grey is unclaimed. The top middle piece of each 3x3 is a crown piece with a rare pack. The rest have basics. They all contain hTC. This was a heavily suggested community feature all around and I'm glad to bring it out.

+ Botnet connections are now limited to one person each. Currently it's whoever takes the botnet victim for their own keeps it until someone else takes it back. We'll add a better system to manage this fairly soon. Botnet connections have been reset to accommodate for this change.
