I've encountered a problem where the game freezes when moving through most rooms. The music continues to play, but I can't do anything except close it through "Task Manager". I've tried limiting the frame rate and running it in a window. Compatibility mode for previous versions of Windows also doesn't work. Has anyone else encountered this? Is there a solution?...

Does anyone know if the difficulty related achievements stack? (beating the game on advanced unlocks the others' achievements as well) Also, does anyone know how to unlock mirror mode, is it for beating the game on the hardest difficulty?! Background, I played Dark Castle, Beyond Dark Castle and the Return to Dark Castle back in the day. I was initially too young for Dark Castle so that one was extremely difficult, Beyond Dark Castle was easier especially since you could save your progress and when Return to Dark Castle finally came out I played it non stop but even though it was a lot bigger than the previous games I found the main difficulty to be in finding the secret stuff not the actual game play. The description of "Return to Dark Castle" says it's the original 30 maps of DC and BDC as well as 50 new maps. However, I'd like to know. Are the 50 new maps completely new? Or is this a remake of "return to dark castle" from 2008? I'm not quite clear on that...
