Demo Update #3

Hi there, World-Eaters!

Another Demo update is live. It's small-portioned but an important part of the diet.

As of now the "RNG Seed" text field can be filled in with Steam's virtual keyboard, meaning Voraxis is ready for that yummy green Steam Deck verification badge! In addition, seeding now supports any character of your choice; choose your recipes responsibly.

this game is funny... cuz..

I slightly have stage 1 disadvantage for it being short ??? I mean stage would getting harder each time but if stage is short I even worse because there no going up card at that stage ... I'm sure you will get mixed feedback about game balance because it pretty swing around in difficulty...

Demo Update #2

Hello again World-Eaters!

Our continued thanks for checking out the demo and your positive feedback!

We have a second demo update for you, this time not as massive but some more notable system improvements as well as Chinese Localisation to bring Voraxis to a wider audience.

Game

Added complete Chinese localization
- Added language setting to change between English and Chinese.

User Interface

Settings Menu: keep displaying the tooltip from a slider setting whilst dragging it with mouse, regardless of hover state.
Settings Menu: Fixed cursor hiding after clicking the screen within Gamma screen.
Settings Menu: Added controller rumble upon enabling the haptics setting.
More visual clarity for hovering a card (especially for gamepad).

Audio

Fixed music lingering in 'Shop state' when starting new run or heading back to main menu.
Fixed audio volume spiking to max for a brief moment when starting a new run or going back to main menu.

Your feedback and suggestions are always welcome in our Discord . While not everything will make it into a demo update it is all up for consideration during further development.

Community High Score Challenge

Hello World-Eaters!

With the launch of our demo we wanted to celebrate by hosting our first community event.

Inspired by those of you active in Discord we would like to formally challenge you.
In VORAXIS it's all about eating up tons of points and going as deep as possible.
Once more, beat the 7th and final level of the Demo and focus on getting as high of a score as possible. Screenshot and share that high score on a winning run and reap the rewards!

Submissions will be accepted from now until February 10 - 01:00 PM CET
