**New Content**

A new faction, the Grieving Cult enters the arena. It unlocks at character level 3. Existing characters will have the griveing cult unlock at their next login.

The Cult fights through sacrifice. Two keywords define it:

- **Deathwish** - an effect that triggers when the creature dies.
- **Banish** - the creature leaves the fight for good after its final act.

**Balance**

- Flesh Mender now has 4/7 (previously 4/12)

Shame about the ai

Even as placeholders this is not a good practice. I am sure many feel the same. Developers are shooting themselves in the foot using generated material.

Patch Notes v0.0.36 (Demo)

**New Features**

- Patch Notes Viewer: you can now read patch notes directly in-game from the login screen. Look for the new "Patch Notes" link next to Wiki and Discord.

**Character Creation**

- The name field now pre-fills with a random name when creating a new character.

- A dice button lets you reroll for a new random name if you don't like the first one.

- All players now see a "Play tutorial / Skip tutorial" option, not just accounts who played through tutorial before.

**Balance**

- Carapace Tissue (Hardened Skin modifier): Now grants +3 HP and costs 2 Energy (previously +2 HP for 3 Energy)

**Bugfixes**

- Fixed a bug where Bloodspike Imp at Level 3 would trigger load animations whenever any non-Imp creature gained stats during planning.

- Fixed a bug that could result in the client clienlosing connection to the server.

- Fixed imp cannibal sacrifice animation.

- Fixed encounter buttons staying visible after starting search for a Mayhem game.

- Fixed a crash when upgrading creatures in quick succession.

- Fixed a crash that occured when a challenge was rejected.
