We want to express our enormous gratitude to everyone who has helped improve the game, as well as to those who have shown interest in exploring the Abyss. We are working hard to fix all the game's issues as quickly as possible. We know that the main problem is related to reconnection - or rather, the lack of it. This mechanic is very complex to implement, but it will be added to Descent Below soon. Here is the list of changes in the new Hotfix 1.01.

Reduced crafting cost:

1. Repair Kit glass part 0M 3G 2O -> 0M 2G 2O

2. Repair Kit metal part 3M 2G 0O -> 2M 1G 0O

Other balance changes:

1. Oxygen consumption underwater increased by 15%

Fixes:

1. Fixed a bug where player customization remained in the world even after they left

2. Pixelation setting slider has been changed for more intuitive perception

3. Visibility of "Back" buttons on computer screens has been significantly improved for better visual clarity

4. Fixed collision of buttons on the terminal at the bottom of the level

5. Items can now be picked up from a slightly greater distance 250 -> 275

6. Leaflets with text can now be picked up and put away without issues

7. Quest cards no longer disappear

8. Display quality of customization element textures has been significantly improved

9. Fixed an issue where the pause menu could not be opened in spectator mode

10. Radio audibility range has been fixed

11. Fixed an issue where you could involuntarily start swimming upward at random moments while in water

12. Added text chat for in-game communication

13. Added display of current microphone used for voice chat in audio settings

Other technical changes:

1. Maximum value has been increased for almost all audio setting sliders.
