Just ask out loud — your sidekick can now turn the volume up or down and switch subtitles on or off for you. Want a second pair of eyes on your game? Ask your sidekick to watch your screen — sharing starts only when you say yes, and stops the moment you ask. Fixes

Toggling subtitles no longer flickers the overlay.
Buying with the Steam overlay disabled no longer hangs — the game now explains how to enable it.
A rare background error when checking your balance with an expired session.

Does it steal your password?

because at the VERY beginning it wants you email and password or steam or google but that could make it so it could very easily record your results at what you put in to steal your password

AI slopware. You're better off just asking a friend to watch you screenshare your game over Discord.

But I guess AI slop fans don't really have friends so this is perfect for them lmao

Game Themed AI profiles?

I was thinking, it would be really cool if the Sidekicks could adopt kind of like roleplay personalities, like in say in Fantasy games, acting like a wise Sorceress, or in Starfield like a shipboard AI, for a more immersive effect.

This needs to be fixed

Using the demo I notice that when asking a question the AI does not take a fresh screenshot before answering and is using an older screenshot which causes it to give wrong answers most of the time. I think it would be best if it takes a fresh screenshot before answering any questions as i constantly have to ask it to "check again" or "take another look" to get it to use a new screenshot. I also noticed that when it gives a long response it stops and won't finish what it was saying unless I say "continue...

So, a few things wrong with this atm. I tried for fun just to see.

If you are a fan of Vedal and Neuro Sama, this ain't it.

This is a $10 subscription service every 30 days. Otherwise you get 90 free minutes. The AI itself is, basic from my experience. It does mostly know what is going on screen. Very much a kind of Yes Man to what you're saying if you ever tried to just chat to some early version of Chat GPT. It continued to, stop in its mid sentences, and suddenly resume if I just, started trying to chat again. It would also cut me off before I got to finish a sentence. No Idea if the subscription version is better. was still fun to try but, needs to be better. Who knows what'll happen after early access but needs to cook.
