100K Wishlists and Frogsmetics!

Hello Frog Sqwad!

Exciting announcement today to let you know we have hit 100K wishlists on Steam! 🐸🥳

We’d like to thank every one of you who has wishlisted the game. It means so much to us and shows us that people are excited for Frog Sqwad!

As promised on our socials, this means we have some more features we would love to talk to you about. The first one, being my personal favourite, is HATS! 🎩

You heard me right, we are happy to announce that not only can you change your frog colour, but you can also customise your frog with frog hats!

To do this in game you will visit the hat shop, which some of you who are keen-eyed will have seen on our social post earlier in the week.

Once inside, there will be a selection of hats for you to choose from. When you first play Frog Sqwad the hat shop is going to look pretty bare. However, when you start playing, you will start unlocking different hats for your frog by completing different achievements in the game!

It’s as simple as that! Unlock hats, equip hats and show off your new frog drip to your friends while diving down the sewers!

We have loads more hats to show you so be sure to keep an eye on our socials to see what new and exciting hats we have to show! 👀

Thank you again for the 100K wishlist! We can’t wait to tell you more about what Frog Sqwad has to offer as we get closer to launch.

Hi every frog!

Thanks for playing our demo and wishlisting the game!

We've been collecting loads of awesome feedback and ideas from you in the reviews, on social, in our discord, and via our feedback form!

We've also been working super hard on adding lots of extra content to the game ready for launch.

The game is coming along really well! So well, in fact, that we're ready to announce a launch month!

We're going to be shipping the game in JUNE 2026!!! That's only TWO MONTHS away!!!

Can't wait for you all to experience the full game!

We're also going to be releasing at the same time on Xbox GamePass. There's a trailer here:

Next Fest - Thank you for being a frog!!!

Frogs!!!

Next Fest has been a wild time!

We only just posted about hitting 50k wishlists, and now we’ve zoomed past 67k wishlists, all the way up to 75k wishlists!

Your support has been incredible and it’s been amazing to see you all enjoying the game. We also really appreciate the reviews you’ve been leaving on the demo. We’re currently at Very Positive, which means a lot!

Even though we’ve all worked on many games before, this is our first game as Panic Stations so it’s been incredible for the game to go so well!

Some cool juicy numbers for you, if you like numbers:

Over 100k people have played the Frog Sqwad demo!
We made it into Steam’s official top 50 demos from Next Fest!
We hit 75k wishlists!
92 reviews on Steam, 89% positive!
9% of you played for over 50 hours… and 6% of you played for over 100 hours!!!

What’s next for our little frog game???

Here’s a few of the things we’re currently working on…

We’re working on FROG HATS to wear on your frog head
SEWER DEPTHS - the sewer will look and feel different as you play through and get further into the sewer. The difficulty will increase with each further depth you reach!
Items for the vending machines! You’ll be able to spend your coins on items to take into the sewer with you. I won’t spoil the surprises just yet, but the items will definitely change up your runs and give you new ways to tackle enemies or rooms you encounter.
NEW ROOMS. We’re adding tonnes of new rooms to the game.
NEW ENEMIES.
NEW GAME MODES
A new option to enable proximity chat!
And more!!!
