- Hunger Pause clarified on Enchantment suffix

- Mana adjusted to cap at 80 PLUS Trinkets rather than 80 INCLUDING Trinkets

- Fixed Item Comparison issue in Inventory for certain suffix/Prefix combos

- Adjusted MainMenu logic for Main/Demo split to prevent black-screen loading

- Fixed identical prefixes / suffixes not stacking on trinkets

- Fixed edgecase with Enemies sometimes not visible on Minimap after Spawning

- Fixed issues with Lightning Glyph not spawning correctly

Hello. Someone may have already say it, but the achievement for secret does not work. And as a suggestion, more food in the dungeon. Maybe the possibility to eat the monsters we kill too. Have a nice day.

Patch Notes and Updates for 1.20.2 - ACHIEVEMENTS!

Patch Highlights

Revised and massively expanded Achievements, now using Steams API for tracking stats, etc. Should be much more effective at unlocking the correct achievements, as well as more than doubling our number of Achievements!
Adjusted the Catacombs Boss to be a little trickier after feedback. Enjoy that one. =3
Fixed a potential softlock in Catacombs Level 4

Other Notes

Fixed lingering typos for Catacombs gear
Adjusted loot tables in Catacombs to make Trenchcoats drop a little more often
Some adjustment to Enemy AI priorities
Streamlined the Steam connection to prevent double-triggering of certain count-based Achievements

Chapter 4 Update!

CHAPTER 4 HAS GONE LIVE!

There are some HUGE updates in this build as we mark **half of out levels are now fully playable!**

With 4 Chapters still to look forwards to, here are our highlights.

Chapter 4: Kobolds and Catacombs is fully playable! Come enjoy this super spooky and surprising extension to our story... and its even more surprising cliffhanger for Chapter 5!

Custom Difficulty Mode has now been added! Adjust many, many different variables to create the perfect vibes-based run, or the deadliest challenge run! You can even hit Random to really make some wild stuff happen!

Defense has had a total rework! Defense wasn't cutting it with escalating numbers and flat percentage reduction, so our Defense system has had a full overhaul and rework. Big numbers still better, but no more reducing all damage to 1!

Save System Fixes! If you are still getting the dreaded Save Bug, I'm sorry we can't save that save. But future saves should be much, much, MUCH more stable thanks to extensive testing and reworking. Old-but-working saves should be unchanged.

Interaction Improvements! No more having to move off a tile to handle "Inventory Full" nonsense!

Movement Request

Hey there! One thing I'd like to see added to the game is an improved movement system. Right now when you move forward and then move or turn right for example before the movement forward animation is executed, this command will be ignored. In olden days you mostly had instant step movement, so this hasn't been much of a thing. But these days most commercial games go with queing up movement or executing it right away and dragging the camera behind, or by doing the reverse and checking continously for inpu...

Demo bug - return to main fails

Esc -> Main Menu gives a black screen. Music continues to play, but the game has to be shut down manually.

Grain on the edges

I have been playing the demo and noticed and there is some heavy grain at the edges. Like where the walls meet the floor. I considered this to be a questionable artistic choice but then also checked for in the trailer and another video and didnt see it there. So this might be a bug. However that grain also doesn't show on screenshots (as its well...grainy and the issue is the movement) and it is even possible that in the videos I saw, the compression filters it out, I am using a RTX 5060ti on Win10. Saving bugged

I died on a floor and when I reloaded the game still thought my kobolds were knocked out. So i reset the game and upon a reload my inventory was wiped. I guess they ate everything while the game was closed.

Found a game breaking bug where I'd fall and respawn on the same spot only to fall again. It kept happening until I got a game over.

Early Access Review

This game, absolute perfection.
Before anything, just the fact that in this game you get to play as 3 kobolds in a trenchcoat is already a big win in my book, it is such a rare thing to have!
Gameplay is simple, you move around, you loot things, you bonk monsters, you loot more things, you inventory manage by eating everything and you try to win the dungeon run!
The artstyle is absolutely charming, the crayon drawings for everything is so fun to look at! The art direction is very clever and funny as well! There are story told through environments, there are funny monsters, cool looking monsters and recently added spooooky monsters! They recently added custom difficulty options, so you can change difficulty to your liking and have a good time with game :}
If you like a dungeon crawling experience that is a lot less stressful and fun to look at and play, I definitely HIGHLY recommend A Kobold Story: Trenchcoat Adventurer!

Early Access Review

Super cute game, I like the art style. It gets pretty hard pretty fast once you get out of the first chapter, especially for food, and I haven't gotten much past there, looking forward to trying to see what else there is in the game.
I think the inventory system is pretty neat too, no way to sell things but everything is food which helps too, Really though I just had a fun time and am looking forward to more.
