Demo v1.02 Patch Notes

Potentially fixed an issue where dashing into a ramp very precisely could cause massive speed gain. Needs more testing to confirm, so leaderboards unaffected for now.
Holding Slow Motion while Restarting allows you to keep Slow Motion active into the next run
Fixed an issue where the Restart Effect would interfere with the Slow Motion effect
Fixed an issue on controller where pausing twice could cause the cursor to lock up until you touched the mouse

Some Feedback from the Demo

The game is really fun! But there's one criticism I have: The Dash ability currently does not allow you to dash upwards when climbing. This is very unintuitive . I would always expect an ability like this to allow you to use it in whichever direction you're going, which in the case of climbing is UP obviously. But I would be interested how other people see this. There's also one thing in regards to the UI when finishing a run that's annoying me. Pressing spacebar continues to the next map, which...

Demo v1.01 Patch Notes

The first small patch for the SPEEDSHOT Demo! Thank you to everyone who has given it a try so far.

Fixed an issue where spacebar could open other unintended menus on the Level Finish Summary screen.
Changed "Continue To Next Level" hotkey from SPACE to ENTER by default. This means pressing space on accident in the Level Finish Summary screen will no longer advance you to the next level.
Made "Continue To Next Level" key bindable in Options menu.

Steam Deck Performance Guide (90+ FPS flawlessly)

SPEEDSHOT has full controller support and supports Steam Deck. (Even if not yet verified on Steam, it works perfectly fine) To play Steam Deck flawlessly at 90 FPS, here are the settings I'd follow. https://v1.steam.hlxgame.cc/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3680906611 All other settings don't really matter.
