Don't hate the idea of this game, make a babe, teleport into an arena, and grind out better gear.

But there is just so little depth to the combat I just found myself getting bored before finishing a level. Some additions of at least heavy swings, or some basic combos would help a lot. Felt like I was playing a clicker game after a bit

On the upside, it's cheap and you get to make a hot goth baddie. On the downside, everything else is ugly, there's no enemy diversity, combat is clunky and too easy, there's no variety to the ways of disposing all the various types of skeletons, and the story is average for hack'n'slash genre (so, terrible).

There are obnoxious bugs with infinite loading screen breaking your save or magic weapons not showing the required character level but they aren't even worth fixing since the game has no real reason to exist. Not with how boring the minute gameplay is with no abilities or combos or anything, you just have 3-hit click-click-click routine with either one-handed sword or dual-wielding swords (who needs non-blade weapons anyway I guess?), or use a super clunky bow. Not with the lack of fun loot, you only get to loot trash and outdated items to vendor in hopes of being able to buy a new marginal upgrade. There's a transmog system but the altar for it is so far away from the main hub for some reason that I haven't discovered it until right before my save was bricked. There's crafting, but once again it's so spread over the map of the peaceful hub that it discourages you from using it, not that you'd like to — it's only good to create items to vendor, to buy actually useful things.

Avoid.

A small-scale action game where you grind a series of arena combats for xp and simple loot. The main character as well as all her different armours and animations are really pretty, and equipment has some decent variety, but there isn't much depth to the mechanics. Biggest complaint is every enemy gives the same tiny amount of XP, making levelling up WAY too grindy. Regardless, this gets a positive review from me as I'd be interested to see this concept taken further. If you can grab it on sale it's good for listening to a podcast with.
