Hi everyone!

We just wanted to say thank you for giving Birds Watching a chance!

We’re almost at 1,000 copies sold in the first two days, and the reception so far has been incredible. We’ve already reached 38 reviews and they’re all positive! It’s been amazing to see people already excited for our next game, and also to watch others compare this one with Loan Shark and pick their favorite.

We're excited to see people playing the game, like the great BigGaming:

Plus a lot of italian creators we love, like Poldo[www.twitch.tv], Yotobi[www.twitch.tv] and Prof. Toniolo. This time even magazines like PC Gamer and https://multiplayer.it/notizie/birds-watching-e-un-horror-psicologico-italiano-pieno-di-uccelli-inquietanti.html have covered the game!

Yesterday we took the day to celebrate the game’s release with some friends at the park. We did a bit of bird watching, and we also played “Birds Watching Live”, a sort of hide-and-seek where one player had to find and catalogue all the birds hiding in the park (the other players) while the monster chased her down.

We’re reading all your feedback and looking forward to fixing every issue you’ve been reporting, starting with the unachievable achievements and the soft locks that occur when acquiring a beak.

Possible Soft Lock Fix

Hi folks!

Thank you all for playing Birds Watching and for sending us feedback!

This patch might solve the soft block that occurs whenever you put on feathers and do other transformation steps. Although many people are encountering this bug we haven't been able to reproduce it internally yet so we don't know if this patch will actually fix it, but if it does then hooray (?)

If you do encounter this bug be sure to report it to us with as many info as you can so we can do a better attempt at fixing it.

A short horror-comedy in which you watch birds, and maybe they watch you, too. The writing is witty, and the horror aspect is more psychological but there are a few moments that made me jump. I have achieved one ending as of this review and it took about an hour, the gameplay is pretty straightforward which is good for a short game. A few minor bugs but I'm sure they'll be patched out soon. Definitely worth playing, I had a great time with it.

One of the birds is very freaky... like.... beware.

A little uncomfortable at times, but other than that an interesting and unique short horror game!

I'm generally not an horror games player. When I started this game, I was expecting an horror game in the classic sense. What I found instead was a fun game to play, with horror elements that make you feel more engaged and immersed. There's a very nice twist I won't spoil. Definitively check it out.

Potentially about... 11 hours on now? Big fan of it, I've spread my wings and got my bird up. I can't wait for the achievements to be fixed. :) I might be hyper fixating and becoming obsessed with this, how sad must it be to get media depression and wish for more? I cannot despair though over no potential sequel or connection, the devs are learning to hone their craft by making masterpieces and I cannot wait to see more. :)...

Stuck By the Lake

After finding the lake and reading the note that was there I tried to walk forward and got stuck? Couldn't move forward, couldn't jump. Tried everything, had to restart. Might wait until a patch happens till I try again.
