I would scream.

Patch Notes:

Added win sfx to timer events (in a coming update/patch this will be disambiguated between Withnail and Eloi).
Added additional condition to complete riddle ‘Mindblower’ with a lit firecracker.
Improved cleaning up chicken "guts" (as well as any other item debris that fade out) when using the reset button
Renamed riddle ‘Street Performer’ to ‘Street Performer’s Payday’ to better emphasize that the riddle has to do with money/coins.
Moved background oddities slightly upwards as some were clipping into the ground slightly.
Resolved issue with the smashed whiskey bottle cork being able to be placed in the chicken’s mouth without it being first smashed open.
Fixed issue where the player could lose items when progressing between acts if the playthrough was started via the act select menu.
Fixed issue where rain ambience wouldn’t play for Ending "Confession and Lullaby". (Its very relaxing)
Fixed the chicken's various body parts contorting on reset.
Fixed scrolling rope playing sfx and cursor reacting to right click input.
Fixed minor typo in the ending dialogue.

Hello toweringly tall gamers. More minor changes : - )

Thank you for your patience. Recently returned from family gathering in Mexico and am just now picking up where I left off. More patches to come soon.

Patch Notes:

Added the ability to stick the cork from the shattered whiskey bottle in the Forever Chicken's destroyed mouth.
Added an additional solution to the riddle "Put a cork in it".
Added a new background oddity referencing Ballfrog by Florian Himsl.
Added a new background oddity referencing Illusory Wall and Dark Souls.
Added a new background oddity referencing Techsmith314[m.twitch.tv].
Added a new background oddity referencing AlphaBetaGamer.
Added a new background oddity referencing Dark Souls.
Added a new background oddity referencing All Tomorrows[en.wikipedia.org] by C.M. Kösemen[cmkosemen.com].
Added a new background oddity referencing Florian Himsl.
Changed the religious goodie bag item to only give the player a single Real Forever Chicken Head to not break our own narrative continuity.
Improved the animation on the Cup and Ball item's score display.
Improved the Cup and Ball item's score display to keep the displayed score within bounds at higher values.
Added a failsafe ensuring that at least one golden coin will spawn when selecting the bag of coins item to prevent players from needing to rely on RNG for a late game riddle.
Ensured cigarette butts fade out rather than popping out of existence.
Replaced all instances of the æ character in the Wholly Bible with “ae”. (god forgive us)
Appear to have resolved issue with audio dipping when many noises are played at once. Most often triggered by players setting off many shotgun shells simultaneously.

Crawling Angels' Soundtrack is coming very soon!

Now that Autumn is back we can submit the final steps for allowing you all to listen to the Soundtrack of Crawling Angels whenever you so desire. Here is a sneak peek at the incredible album art we have cooking!

Shortly after release on Steam the Soundtrack will come to Youtube, Spotify, etc. However the Steam release of the soundtrack will include 5 previously unreleased bonus tracks.

Alright, turn out the light, sleep tight and don't let El Chupacabra bite.

Prospective buyers would be better off buying Little Inferno by the Tomorrow Corporation.

I *enjoyed* this game, but I did not get nearly €10,- worth of enjoyment out of the short 4 hours it took to finish this game, it has a few funny jokes and creepy moments but the story is quite lacking, the gameplay is borderline plagiarism on the aforementioned "Little Inferno" game released over a decade prior (2012) but somehow fails to improve upon it in both quantity and quality of content.

I do want to make sure to mention that I liked the voice acting, especially the fully voiced characters, I don't have anything else to note about that.

But honestly, all complaints so far can be forgiven because the one part that I'm going to remember most about this game is that (while not enforcing) it repeatedly encourages you to destroy or otherwise misuse the "Wholy" Bible, a near identical copy of the Holy Bible (via tearing out, crumpling and/or burning its pages, using the book to squash insects etc), this doesn't seem to be done with any kind of nuance and while the developers try to excuse this and say it isn't the "actual" Holy Bible it really just feels like a cop out and like another one of the numerous and blatant "I want to randomly take an unwarranted shot at Christians because of X and Y personal experience" that has become EVER so oversaturated in the increasingly nihilistic, antitheist world of modern game releases, I do not personally consider myself part of any religion yet even I notice and am deeply disturbed by the incessant disrespect thrown at the chosen faith of billions of people on this planet.

This has been my first impression of the developers involved and, while I did gain some enjoyment from parts of the game, I am overall unimpressed and unlikely to play (let alone purchase) any future games, there's simply better, cheaper options.

All of this has not been to say that I think the developers should stop making games entirely, there's clear evidence that an audience has been found, but it definitely isn't me.

Was anyone else exhausted when you beat it?

Normally I like dark/psychological horror themes, but there was some kind of chemistry between that and the kids that made it really not fun. It wasn't thought-provoking or philosophical, it was just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ gross the entire time. Demented just for it's own sake....

Hello my gargantuan gamers. Another small patch : - )

Will be fishing a bit longer before coming back for some larger changes.
(I hope I catch a big fat sturgeon)

Patch Notes:

Added a new doodle that can appear when selecting the doodle item that directly references Humpty Dumpty's likeness and lyrics to help the handful of players that struggled with the riddle "All the King's Horses".
Added a new background oddity referencing Garage Heathen.
Added a new background oddity referencing Renatows.
Added a new background oddity referencing Albino.
Added a new large background oddity referencing The Third Shift by Teebowah Games.
Updated the background oddity system to ensure it rerolls present oddities when the camera spins.
Fixed save files getting softlocked after completing the game.
Fixed gameplay loading in a broken state after finishing the game and re-entering.
Fixed post processing persisting after finishing game. (Despite it looking kinda cool)
Updated riddle "Human Magnetic Levitation" to no longer be completable without the Inner Child holding a magnet.

I already have my own curiosity back in playtest for this game.

Well, Its simple really, You are in a night carnival and you are playing a specific carnival game with one and only attraction. "Forever Chicken"

You will get a "Riddles" 90 Percent of the time these riddle has something to do with the Forever chicken who no matter what you have done to it, It always came back, Disregard the amount of brutality you inflicted on it. And that's the main point.

Each time you've complete a riddle, You get a coin which used to purchase new objects which will corresponse with next riddle further and further down the story line.

Speaking of story line, There are a story line which you must experience on your own, But let me give you a little headstart, Its a very touchy subject, A touchy kind that with incorrect response damage many lives over around the world in some way.

I don't really want to get down to spoiling the ending but it got you asking the question. By the end, The result are the same, You must living on. But the question is whether you accept what happen as your own and moving on or enchant them as everything revolving around you and you chose to fabric yourself a story to convincing yourself that you must keep on going? This little stump of life certainly would have a consequence in a years to come.

I know its a video game, But its hard to have any game these days touching on this very touchy subject without preaching. This is one of a few that done this quite well enough. Although you might be putting off with the grotesque and all.

Lastly. Even if this is just a video game, I want to let you know, if you are reading this and felt the same way as I am. Life goes on, It maybe a foolish things children does, But no matter what, Life goes on and we can do better as long as we understand what had been done and what must be done further down the line.

I love indie games and I loved Little Inferno, so I was intrigued. I tried the demo and this game did so many things that felt new and fresh and freaky, I was excited to play and I bought the game day one. I enjoyed the puzzles and I really liked the dark setting and story. Too many elements to include them all in a short review but suffice to say my mind was racing trying to parse all the disparate details into some sort of cohesive story. I had all sorts of theories and I was looking forward to answers. Unfortunately the game isn't as deep as I had wanted and the answers there are, aren't satisfying. I wont give away any spoilers but the endings feel boring, uninteresting, shallow and rushed. This game was so much better in my imagination then its reality. I will keep an eye on this developer and I hope their future creations continue to drive unique story and mechanic ideas. 6 out of 10.
