A review I'm probably gunna catch some flak for seeing as I know how. . .conflicting, AI discourse can be on the internet - and trust me I get it, any day of the week I'm a certified AI hater as much as the next person; however as a life-long RPer I can appreciate what Veilscripture brings to the table - it's all the stepping into another characters shoes for a few hours and being creative, but arguably more convenient as there is no need to arrange times to get together, or missing out on events because of how chaotic life and servers can be - and at that it's just as promised on the box, no subscription and locally hosted so it even works if the internet goes out for whatever reason.

Now because I know the target demographic is likely RPers, and as stated Ai in general is warily viewed, I will say - I wouldn't worry about it flat our replacing RP; no matter how good an AI is it's -never- going to replace interacting with another human being, but I can see it filling a similar niche to Ghost Recon within the Tactical Shooter genre where it's the easier, convenient version when you don't want to play a full match of Squad or load up Arma for an Op.

Now because I recognize I'm just a person on the internet, the best I can say to simply wrap this up is - give it a chance, the demo is free and the only thing you'll be giving up is time to simply -try- it, see if you like it and go from there.

(Before it's asked why I seem so confident and certain despite so few hours...I uhh...I may have put 200 hours into the demo before release....)
