Hello!

A big thank you for the feedback in our Discord as well as the Steam forums. We took the feedback and we did some changes that will be in our next Demo update. We really appreciate the time you all took to write to us and we wanted to share!

GAMEPLAY

Movement - the movement has been improvedin both animations and feeling. We came to realized that the overall feeling of moving Torii was not smooth and fluid as expected of platformers. We have aimed to improve the reponsiveness and feeling of it.
Player recovery - the recovery of Torii was a bit off and so we improved the visual and time response on being hit by an attack
Parry - parry now has alot of visuals but in gameplay, if you successfully parry - you can immediately reparry - rewarding you for doing a successful parry against an enemy and to block multiple attacks

VISUAL

New animations and VFX feedback. You asked for more feedback when striking enemies and also when attacking
Parry Visuals have been greatly improved
Smoother camera movement
Flash attacks and flash visuals on enemy strikes.

More to come but wanted to share our update with you all!

Hey, I just got done playing your demo, so far the game is gorgeous and beautiful to look that, it's got has potential to amazing game, the combat is pretty simple, but the parries needs some work i notice when i parry, i have to wait for the parry circle to finished before I get to use parry again, which is not fun when the enemies can attack multiple times, and the dodging or rolling system, it's seem to knock into the enemy not rolling pass the enemy, i hope this feedback will help you with your game, i...

Hello!

We are proud to present our first demo of Torii and would love your feedback and thoughts! Feel free to use #ToriiGame on any social platform or please use the Steam forums! We would love to hear from you.

In this demo (without spoiling too much!)

We have given you different orbs to show you how we will focus on elemental attacks (this will be leart in a different way for the full version!)
The last boss starts with 'B' and there will be many gates (you only see a portion of gate 1!)

Demo First Impressions

Cool visual style, but some things didnt feel right. - The door next to the village closed after ive been elsewhere, i think itd be nice if they stayed open. The falling through platforms was often apperent when trying to land on swinging platforms. Havent seen swinging platforms often so i do like the novelty, but it should be easier to land on those. Some Platforms were very narrow, so id love to have more coyote time, so im less likely to just run into spikes. Not being able to dodge through enemies i...

Demo feedback

Some feedback I have about the demo: *When jumping onto platforms, Torii will often fall through the platform instead of land on it. Due to how inconsistent this is, it seems to be a bug. *Please allow the DPAD to be used to move Torri in addition to the analog stick. *When Seimei joined the party, the UI said to press F to continue even though I've been playing with a gamepad. Some of the other prompts may not have been updated for controller buttons. *Parrying didn't seem to reliably block attacks, or ...

This game looks really interesting and beautiful, of course it reminds me Nine Sols but its not a problem - the problem may be the lack of promotion, if You really want to publish this game in Q1 2026 then You should remember about marketing / promote it because I couldn't find any news or even trailer about Torii. Cheers!...
