I’ve been reading all your feedback since the demo launch, and one point came up repeatedly: the camera movement, especially during strafing, didn't feel as smooth as it should.

I’ve just pushed a patch with a deep rework of the Character Controller. I’ve overhauled how the camera and player movement interact to eliminate that "choppy" feeling.

Since this was a significant under-the-hood change, I’d love to hear from you:

• Does the movement feel more fluid now?

• Have you encountered any new, unexpected bugs?

Hi everyone,

I’m really excited to finally say this:
the demo for Eternal Afternoon is now available on Steam.

This demo represents the core experience of the game —
a short, atmospheric journey about childhood, time, and the end of the world, set in a nostalgic neighborhood in the summer of 2001.

While the atmosphere, story, and world-building reflect the final game,
some technical polish is still in progress.
I’ll be improving the demo based on player feedback over the coming days.
