Closest I got so far was 2:09 on Peaks Descent using the RT-7. Seems like it's not possible in the demo to get the locked cars, or if it is then you need to literally be Initial D to do it. EDIT: I watched a few videos and it IS possible, but you do indeed need to be Takumi Fujiwara to do it....

Is there a handbrake button? I can't seem to find it...

This game is really, really good - every screen, car and track is oozing with the classic 90s racer style. The driving feels fantastic and getting the power down to successfully bring the drift round the corner and burn away is so satisfying. Feels challenging but within reach for every corner and its addictive tying it together to improve times. However, there's something wrong with downshifting in Manual (a review has already mentioned this); it does not feel like its up to me when we downshift approach...
