I'm struggling with Trial of Elements on extreme difficulty. I've tried a run with no elements, and that got to about wave 20. I've tried a run with each production line getting a different element, and that always fails against enemies immune to fire. I'm not really sure how I'm supposed to defeat enemies when they're immune to the element that gives damage....

i played just about every broken spawn meathod iv come across on normal, no progress. nothing. one meathod literally vulcan machein guns the spawn rate and i still get swamped on wave 30 - 36.. its actually pissing me off to the point of uninstalling this game.. and i dont cuz i want to keep playing, but when ur trying basically everything and nothing works, its aggravating....

Specifically in terms of replacing glyph-adding catalysts with rune-adding ones (of the same nature), I just havent gotten anything working. I just tried replacing my "1 lvl for 1 expansion glyph" catalyst for a "3 lvl for 1 expansion rune" catalyst, expecting that since I am not rotation after adding the rune, it would work exactly the same. For context, this production line creates deus, but the second i replace the glyph with a rune it does not. The finished golems are not even output with a rune at all...

1) How to actually spawn an Ex Deus? I've done it many times and have had factories producing nothing but super powered up Ex Deus, but I'm not sure what actually triggers a Deus turning into an Ex Deus. 2) Do Ex Deus gain the upgrade path from Deus? They don't have their own upgrades you can purchase. Do they not have one at all, or do they share with Deus?...

So I am trying the game with Trials active, but I do have some thoughts about this. The randomize cost trial seems to be bugged for Deus cores: they are not randomized, but always cost almost double. The element trial is by far the most difficult, as creating a golem with multiple elements makes a ghost immune to one, immune to that entire golem. E.g. a Deus with fire + ice does no damage to a ghost with immunity to fire. So a golem with all elements has a great chance of doing no damage at all. Perhaps ...
