I played the game a lot, had a great time, and finished it. Plus, the crafting system in the later stages of the game is truly amazing; there are tons of different types of alcoholic drinks and countless combinations. The game runs very smoothly, and the sense of progression is satisfying—the vehicle mechanics are also well-designed and fun.

THE BREWLINE

After an hour of gameplay...

The text on the sales tips and similar screens needs to be bigger with a different font, and it should have an opaque background.

I feel like if the dialogue popped up above the NPCs' heads instead of at the bottom of the screen, players would stay more focused on the center of the screen. (Just a thought)

The map icons would be way more appealing if they were colored instead of just black and white, even if they're kept simple.

Could we get a small chair in front of the PC desk? I don't wanna do business standing up, my back hurts :D

Also, where is the PC tower anyway?

NPC messages pop up in the bottom right, which is super easy to miss. If they dropped down from the top like a text bubble on a real phone, it would be much more noticeable and look aesthetically better.

Some quests can't be done at night. For example, when I go to Mateo for the 'befriend' quest, he just says he can't talk. A quick warning message telling us to come back tomorrow would be great here.

It would be nice to smooth out or lower the curbs in front of the houses so the scooter can actually get up there. Right now, if you don't get a running start, the scooter just gets stuck.

Optimization-wise, the frame rate drops to around 40 FPS at night. That's totally acceptable for a first game, but maybe adding an option in the settings to remove the random street trash could help boost the frames.

Finally, having played the demo, there is a genuinely noticeable improvement here. They're doing a fantastic job, especially considering this is their first game.

The Brewline is a massive rival to Schedule I... and it will take the throne very soon.
