We regret to inform you that Forgotten - Whispers from the Ashes will be postponed: it will no longer be released in January 2026, but in the second half of March.

We have reviewed all of your feedback and want to take the time to provide you with a more in-depth and satisfying horror experience.

Our team has recently welcomed new members, whose contributions are proving vital in ensuring that development proceeds smoothly.

For this reason, we would like to take a little more time to explore Thomas's psychological journey in the cursed town of Centreville more thoroughly. If you want to discover the tragic past of Timmy and the other ghosts, continue to follow and support us.

Thoughts so far

I like that you have going in terms of theme, plot idea, atmosphere and overall vibes. That being said I have a few issues. I collected the ring, picture and crowbar but couldn't make any other progress. Interacting with the mothers ghost changed nothing and I found nothing else that may allow me to get through the gate. So it could use a bit more guidance or glow to items. I look forward to updates if you continue to do so for the demo and the game itself....

I´m really interested in the game as I like slow paced games with a focus on story, too... but the game needs a lot of work to be become a good game the performance is horrendous and in 4k not playable, even in wqhd (1440p) it was not playable. thre is no dlss, no option to tune the grapics just one preset. this is nogo for a pc game the levels of details for example the house of the parents need to be improved and maximised to look like a real house. the lamp in the room in 1F glows and shines bu...

Brief play, due to some issues.

The item descriptions were covered by the word "description", so I was unable to read them. The dialogue is weak. Could use some polishing. There's also no need to specify "Me:" when main character speaks/thinks. The movement was the biggest issue for me, honestly. The character model moves slightly upon every stop, like it's trailing the movement, and that was ultimately what had me quit.
