The following improvements have been made:

Game Performance Optimization
Refactoring was performed to primarily reduce memory usage. Additionally, the rendering of railway tracks in Map Mode has been optimized to improve performance.
New Mission AddedA new passenger mission covering the longest distance to date (between Trena Port and Macaron Village) has been added. Since it involves hauling passenger coaches, players can enjoy switching locomotives between electrified and non-electrified sections.
Bug Fixes
Issues affecting certain terrain elements and vehicle settings (couplers) have been resolved.

Bug in new update

I like the new UI and I'm stoked that macaron lake has opened up, but I was just doing a passenger run from Chamcity to GranForge and a portion of the track is covered by landscape. Ran right into it and derailed.

EA Ver 0.2.9 - Opening of Macaron Village, UI improvements, etc.

We have opened the route to Macaron Village and implemented some UI improvements!

Macaron Village
Located by the lakeside south of Swift Village, past the mountain pass. Two intermediate stations have been added along the way.
We plan to add more missions in the future.
Partial UI ImprovementsWe have revamped the UI for the main screen and the mission screen. We plan to make further improvements at a later date.
In addition, we have added a visual representation of engine exhaust heat.

Weird physics/speed behaviour

I took a 32 cars, 1550T freight mission between city freight and Grand forge freight. The speed of the train was extremely random, jumping from 10km/to 50km/h in one or two seconds with only reverser on one crank. The same happened both in acceleration and decelration phases, and while cruising. Also, when approaching Grand forge, some of the locomotives and some of the cars began to capsize, it was a nightmare to try and put them back straight. Good evening, first let me congratulate you on all the work you have done so far, you have the makings of a great game and I love that you have set it in your own fictional world, so aren't constrained by real world locomotive types and locations.
