COMBAT REWORK AND OPTIMIZATION

Greetings!
Thank you again for your interest. Based on the feedback you’ve provided, I’ve overhauled and updated quite a few things. I hope you guys enjoy the changes!

Combat & Mechanics

Energy Generation: All weapons now grant instant extra energy upon hitting an enemy!
Weapon Balancing: Attack speeds for the Dart and Katana now slightly decrease if used in rapid succession to encourage rhythmic combat.
Parry Improvements:
- Coyote Time: Added a small grace window (tolerance) to the projectile parry system. Parrying is now easier and more consistent, even if the bullet seems to have slightly entered your hitbox.
- Dart Parry: You can now parry your own darts! Parrying a dart causes it to explode instantly at its location.
- Boss Readability: Boss parry animations and timings have been refined for better clarity.
Dash Buff: Added brief invulnerability frames (i-frames) while dashing, making it much safer to dodge through attacks.
Explosion Physics: Dart explosions can now launch you into the air; feel free to use this for a movement advantage!

Fixes & Technical

Movement: Fixed the issue where the character would slide on sloped surfaces.
VFX/SFX: Added new visual and sound effects for Drone Teleports.
Settings: Added an option to toggle Camera Tilt in the settings menu.
UI: Minor visual adjustments and polish to the in-game HUD.
Optimization: Significant performance improvements,the game is now much smoother!

I just have a doubt, how do you heal?

I really like the game's gameplay and I believe this could be a big project, but I don't get how to heal xd

Gameplay & Balancing

Melee Siphon: Basic melee attacks and successful parries now grant health.
Healing Cap: The cap preventing health gain has been increased and now dynamically scales as you take damage.
Energy Adjustment: Fixed a bug that caused unintended excessive energy gain during melee attacks.
Boss Update: Increased the melee attack damage for the Proud boss.
Level Design: Reduced the number of armored enemies in the first level of Greed.

Bug Fixes

Equipment: Resolved the issue where the second version of the Axe failed to provide health.
Audio & Animation: Added missing wall jump sound effects and polished minor animation glitches.
Movement: Fixed a bug where letting go of directional keys while sliding would cause a crouching issue.

Parry and Game Balancing

Hi guys!

Heres some update notes for Dimenshot!

Gameplay and Mechanics

Ground Slam: Increased execution speed for better fluidity.
Parry System: Ease of parrying enemy projectiles has been improved.
Energy Gain: Slightly increased the amount of energy gained during combat.
Axe Mechanic: You can now strike and parry with the axe even if it hasn't started returning yet.

Bug Fixes

Grappling Gun: Fixed an issue where the hook would occasionally fail to fire.
Katana Skill: Fixed a bug where teleporting with the Katana could cause players to fall through the map.
Projectile Direction: Fixed a bug related to the trajectory of enemy bullets.
Dimentrash: Fixed a bug that allowed dashing into Dimenstrashes while in mid-air.

Improvements and Balancing

Enemy Animations: Replaced idle animations to prevent confusion and improve readability during combat.
Tutorials: Refined and improved tutorial texts for better clarity.
Heal Orbs: Rebalanced heal orb drop rates/values.
Performance: General optimization improvements have been implemented.

Sound Effects (SFX)

Weapon SFX: Added new sound effects for the Axe and Darts.
Enemy SFX: Enhanced and polished enemy-related sound effects.

You still use ranged weapons alot....?

Dosen't seem that much different than other movement boomer shooters with melee weapons...

weapon

personnaly i love the idea of having to switch between weapon but if I could add something it would be to balance the weapon because some of them are just not really worth using due to how llittle damage they do or how inconvenient they're abiltys are; And also to ex^plain you can switch betxeen xeapon before the first boss, personnally I didn't know and had to do the whole boss with the axe, wich is still great and fun but would've been better to know it early in the play. but overall the game look INCRE...
