As title says, this seems a bit counterintuitive. Also, the "double kill bonus" when killing the pregnant woman and trying to save the child is a bit too "teenager edgy" imo.

Played the game for a little bit. The way gameplay loop works, I feel like I'm incentivized to get couple of easy Lunar Fragments, then exit as soon as possible. Just repeat the loop until I unlock everything from the shop. Game is difficult after all, so getting all the help I can before I can explore the interesting world and commit to more fights makes sense. But I kind of wish that wasn't the case. One of the main things I didn't like about "Fear and Hunger" was that the real challenge of the game was just bashing your head through all the trial-and-error stuff. Every fight was a blind struggle to learn enemy patterns (Turn 1 enemy does this, Turn 2 enemy does that) or else you'd Game Over, and then the next time you fight them, you know exactly what to do now - the challenge is gone as long as you've seen what they do and memorized it (assuming RNG doesn't decide to kill you anyway).
